I’ve sat in front of my computer for awhile now, trying to pinpoint individual memories that I could share on this site. I went through all the Christmases spent with the Fox family, the rounds of golf, and the many, many adult beverages consumed throughout. I’ve gone through the Flyers games and the times we spent on the ice together. And I have thought about some of the memories and stories that are not, how do I say, ummm, “suitable for family consumption.” However no one individual memory stands above the rest. I simply find myself weighing each experience I have had with this man equally. I am just honored to have known Brad personally.
Its been over a month and I still think about Brad every single day. I think about his family, who are some of the greatest people I have ever known in my life. I think of Lynsay and their beautiful daughter Kadence, who I see Brad in every time I look at her. When thinking about all of this, it is easy to have tears fill my eyes.
However, for me, it helps to try to focus on whatever positives we can take from this. Before this happened, we were all strangers whose only commonality was that we were lucky enough to know Brad. Now, we are all becoming one huge extended family, showing that even after Brad has left us, he is still bringing people together; in true Fox fashion.
We will never forget you, Brad. Thank you for everything you’ve done. It was an honor to have known you.
